CANCELLATION POLICY

Studio Policies & Client Agreement By booking an appointment with Designs of a Queen LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following policies. Appointments, Deposits & Scheduling Appointments are reserved exclusively for you. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and may be transferred one time with at least 48 hours’ notice. Rescheduled appointments must be rebooked within 14 days, otherwise a new deposit will be required. Cancellations & No-Shows A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will forfeit the deposit. No-call/no-show appointments will be charged 100% of the scheduled service and may result in restrictions on future bookings. Late Arrivals Please arrive on time. A 15 minute grace period may be permitted, depending on your service. Arrivals beyond 15 minutes may require your appointment to be shortened or rescheduled, and your deposit may be forfeited. Product Removal If you currently have nail enhancements, please book the appropriate removal service when scheduling. Failure to reserve adequate removal time may require modification or rescheduling of your appointment. After-Hours Appointments After-hours appointments are limited, require prior approval, and include an additional service fee. These appointments are subject to the same cancellation policy and may require a new deposit if rescheduled. Freestyle & Custom Services Freestyle services are created using the artist’s professional judgment and creative vision. Clients may choose their preferred length, shape, and color palette, while all final artistic details are determined by the artist. Every freestyle set is unique and may vary based on inspiration and product availability. Service Satisfaction Please review your nails before leaving your appointment. Once your service has been completed and accepted, all services are considered final. Requests for changes to design, color, shape, or length after completion will be treated as a new service and charged accordingly. If a product-related issue resulting from workmanship occurs, please notify us within 48 hours so we may evaluate the concern and, if appropriate, provide a complimentary repair. Damage caused by accidents, lifestyle, improper care, or picking is not covered. Nail Care Proper aftercare is essential to maintaining your nails. Clients are responsible for routine maintenance, including recommended fills every 2–3 weeks. Nails should not be used as tools or removed by picking or peeling. Improper removal or neglect may result in damage to the natural nail, for which Designs of a Queen is not responsible. Health & Safety For the safety of all clients, services may be declined if you have symptoms of illness, contagious conditions, nail fungus, open wounds, or any condition that may affect the safety or quality of your service. You agree to disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or product sensitivities before your appointment and to immediately notify your technician if you experience pain, burning, or discomfort during your service. Payments & Chargebacks Payment is due upon completion of services. By completing your appointment, you acknowledge that you have received the agreed-upon service and authorize payment for all services and approved add-ons. Completed services are non-refundable. You agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for services that have been rendered. Designs of a Queen LLC reserves the right to pursue recovery of unpaid balances, chargeback fees, collection costs, and other remedies available under applicable law. Photography Unless you request otherwise before your appointment, you grant Designs of a Queen LLC permission to photograph or record your completed nails for use on our website, portfolio, social media, and marketing materials. No personal identifying information will be shared without your permission. Limitation of Liability While every effort is made to provide services in a safe, clean, and professional environment, nail services carry inherent risks, including allergic reactions, irritation, lifting, or damage resulting from undisclosed health conditions, product sensitivities, or improper aftercare. By booking an appointment, you voluntarily accept these risks and release Designs of a Queen LLC from liability for issues arising from undisclosed medical conditions, allergies, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or circumstances beyond the technician’s reasonable control.
